World travel and nature under threat in the Prophecies of Nostradamus

Quatrain 1-63 is a general prophecy over the current period:

Les fleurs passes diminue le monde
Long temps la paix terres inhabitees
Seur marchera par ciel, serre, mer et onde
Puis de nouveau les guerres suscitees   1-63

Flowers in the past diminish the world
Long time peace to inhabited lands
Safely travel by sky, (serre), sea and waves
Then wars will start up again.

'Flowers in the past' certainly applies to much of northern France and other areas of intensive agriculture which diminish the joys of our resplendent world. Wild flowers, bees and song birds have disappeared from so many places. Ever since 1945, there has been relative peace in most of the world and safe travel has been possible for many, but he then warns us that wars will flare up once more. Quite likely, the consecutive quatrains 1-62 and 1-64, both link to the above prophecy, as both concern the present day.
